Let's hope Google does right with the Gphone--they have an opportunity to completely revolutionize mobile communications in the United States.
Prediction: The Gphone, with T-mobile, will succeed and we will all enjoy paying drastically reduced cell phone bills.

Best Time of the Year
I think I want to see every one of these films!
Prediction: If, to the masses, he hasn't done it already with Walk the Line, Joaquin Phoenix will establish himself, this year, as one of the greatest actors of our time--I am talking De Niro, Duvall, Newman, Pacino, Brando, Downey Jr., etc.
Prediction: Based solely on cast (Phoenix and Ruffalo: are you kidding me), Reservation Road, will be one of the best movies of the year.

Are Artists Born or Taught?
An interesting article surfaced recently asking "Are artists born or taught?" A refinement to the ubiquitous "nurture vs. nature" debate, I tend to fall somewhere in the middle with a leaning toward the innate. Future fodder for Randomness.

Randomness: An Ode to Chabon
The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay: a near-flawless book--without a doubt one of my favorites. I first started reading Chabon's comic-book/Superman inspired novel during the first half of my senior year in college--right after boarding the plane to Europe that would prove to change pretty much every direction my life was taking.
For those who haven't read it, I'm jealous.
