Buzzwords: Green and Eco

For shallow reasons like stereotyping and ignorant associations, I've never really paid much attention to this type of thinking, philosophy, or movement. Sure these issues are real, but are they as important as national defense, health, education? The more I think about it, the more I realize how much I still need to learn. Gore's masterful documentary was a great place to start, but I need to ask more questions; I need to dig deeper. As "Eco" and "Green" (it you take the time to watch, pay attention to Tommy's balance between Eco-friendly and Capitalism: his drive is inspiring) become the new buzzwords, naturally, I grow skeptical.
